Knowing that the "training them up" part is finished, taking my hands off of them, and letting them go be adults.

The hardest part of being a mom for me is always feeling like I could be doing more. I'm pulled in a lot of different directions, so I don't feel that I'm giving any one area 100%. For now, my daughter and husband are where I will strive to give my 100%, and I just have to allow other things to be secondary. It's completely outside my character to do this, but I have to let it go, let it go. I don't want to one day have regrets that I allowed outside influences to usurp being a mother to my daughter and a wife to my husband. In the end, I think that would be much harder than what I currently feel.

The hardest thing about being a mom is knowing that my girl is watching & imitating her momma. Hard, yes, but so thankful for the accountability! Comments are closed.
