Man, I'v e been feeling like I'm runnin' on this wash, rinse, repeat cycle these days. I don't mean to complain, but I'm kinda loosing track of each day. It seems I'm doing the same things over and over again under some big cloud of monotony. I'm really intentional about CHOOSING 2 THINK...figure it's important to practice what I preach. :) The monotony mindset is certainly one I do NOT want to foster. I've been longing for a bit of revival, you know, a warm wave of sunshine and a big gush of fresh air pouring into my mind and settling over my heart. That's when I started studying Psalm 119 for the next C2T podcast episode. What good timing!
In that incredibly long poem, the psalmist asks God to REVIVE him. But how?
Ah, there's the answer. God's Word is all I need each day to deal with everything from big world crises to little me issues. His Word is light and life, energy and sustenance. I don't want to miss it especially during this unusual season. I hope you tune into the C2T podcast this Thursday! There is a lot to learn from this psalm, not the least of which is a little bit about the Hebrew alphabet. I'd love to know what you think! Comments are closed.
