Have you met her? Why, she is a master hair stylist, sweet friend, and upbeat mama! She owns a beauty salon just down the street from you in a cozy part of Lexington. Clients swing through her doors at all hours of the day, and she's even been known to come to the rescue way after hours if you highlight your hair to the tune of metallic orange (baseball caps are helpful in these scenarios as well as black capes and dark sunglasses).
You flop into her chair an utter mess of fright after such a hair fiasco of the train wreck variety, and within minutes she puts your mind to ease with a casual tilt of the head and a matter-of-fact lift of the brows, "Girlfriend, I've seen muuuuuch worse. Now. Tell me what prompted you to clean the attic with highlight lotion on anyway? And you said you kept it on for almost 3 hours? You must be terribly distracted these days. Tell me more, but first--can I get you some coffee or a bottle of water?"
And so the saga continues, she listens, she examines, she shares, she analyzes, concocts, paints, cuts, washes, applies, and styles....when ta dah: the face (and hair) of a lady you used to know suddenly appears in the mirror. Whew. She saved you again!
All hyperbole aside, if you haven't made an appointment with Darlene at South Hill Salon you need to right away! She has lots of hair advice plus free Aveda samples, and you can even purchase gift certificates for that special someone. Her salon services are quite varied, and for first time customers, she offers a $10 discount!
Darlene is not only an expert hair stylist, but she is someone who will give you just what you need and just when you need it so you'll be on your way looking and feeling your very best!
She is booking appointments now before school starts, but time slots are going fast! Why not call her today! 859.338.1990
